Welcome to the new Outreach@Ebling Blog.

We are asking for you assistance in planning the next Wisconsin Health Information Outreach Summit, scheduled to take place in Madison in the summer of 2008. The two previous Summits, the first in 2004 and the second in 2006, were well received and well reviewed by attendees. We would like to continue our practice of listening to your needs and planning accordingly. So, we are asking you to response to a brief Summit survey. Your input will be helpful in planning the 2008 Summit.

The 2006 Summit emphasized evidence-based practice. What would you like to see as the theme for the 2008 Summit? What outreach health topic would you like to learn more about or share with other health information seekers? Some suggestions to date have been:

--Health information literacy
--Public health outreach initiatives in Wisconsin
--Health Information Outreach and Web 2.0
--Consumer health information

There are so many! We would like to know where YOU place the emphasis and where YOU see the greatest needs. Please share your thoughts with us.
